Following the move to its new home at 600 Mumbles Road, the team at Promenade Dental (formerly Kings Road) were delighted when a patient brought in photographs from a bygone era.

The black and white images show how the building has long played a part at the commercial heart of the village as was once an ‘open all hours’ style convenience store.

The fascinating photographs illustrate the demand for tobacco, cigarettes and sweets, none of which ironically are conducive to good oral and dental health.
