What is Invisalign treatment?
Invisalign treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. There are no brackets and wires and none of the restrictions that come with metal braces. It is often the preferred choice for adults seeking straighter teeth. Invisalign is a highly advanced approach to straightening your teeth.

Treatment process
Invisalign treatment process
Orthodontics has benefitted from many advances and today treatment is faster and a lot more comfortable than it was in the past. This is what you can expect:
1. Consultation
We’ll take x-rays, photographs, and impressions of your teeth. They will also analyze your bite and map out your smile
4. Wear Your aligners
You will wear your aligners for 20–22 hours a day. You will typically change to a new set of aligners every 1–2 weeks.
2. Treatment plan
We use the information to create a 3D model of your teeth and a treatment plan for moving them into place.
5. Check-ups
We carry out regular check-ups to monitor your progress and give you your new sets of aligners.
3. Aligners
Invisalign will create custom plastic aligners based on the treatment plan. You will receive your first set of aligners and we’ll check that they fit and are comfortable.
6. Retainers
After you finish the aligners, you will move to wearing retainers to prevent your teeth from shifting out of place.
Aftercare
Invisalign aftercare is important for maintaining the results of your treatment and your oral health. Alongside your regular oral hygiene routine, you will need to clean your aligners. To do this, use a soft-bristled toothbrush and clear, antibacterial soap to gently brush your aligners daily. You can also soak them in a mixture of warm water and white vinegar or baking soda, or use a recommended Invisalign cleaning solution. Avoid using toothpaste, which can scratch the aligners

How long do you wear invisalign retainers per day?
It is recommended that you wear your Invisalign retainers for 22 hours per day.
Do you wear a retainer forever after Invisalign?
Around the 12-month mark, you can transition to wearing your retainers three to five nights per week. So, while you should be wearing them consistently throughout your lifetime, you won’t need to wear them “forever.”
Why does my Invisalign retainer hurt every night?
Typically, this discomfort arises due to the pressure exerted on your teeth. It happens as the aligners gradually shift them into the desired position. This pressure can cause temporary soreness.
